Equity management for further property investment

Julian and Lisa had 4 properties with a major lender. They had used their local branch a number of times, and the local branch had all 4 properties cross collateralised. They wanted to gain access to more equity to buy another property, however as the one lender had all properties, they were not willing to extend any more finance to them.

Solution: We refinanced the properties with 2 separate lenders. We chose lenders that offered a rebate, i.e. the clients received $3500 cash in their pocket straight up. Julian and Lisa gained access to further equity and they are now in the process of purchasing their 5th investment property.
